Hi Laura. Thank you for more valuable information.

I have a question for you

At the time of the rapture when there are people calling out to Jesus, and he says that he does not know them who do you think these people are why Jesus does not know them ?

The following is from a sermon ascribed to Ephraem of Nisibis (306-373 AD).

“For all the saints and Elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins.”

"in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed" ' 1 Corinthians 15:52

The rapture will happen in the twinkling of an eye, the apostle Paul recorded. Chuck Missler calculated it as 10 to the -43rd seconds. That means that Believers in a commited relationship with Jesus will suddenly be somewhere else, another dimension entirely, in bodies as Jesus has, which as we know can eat, drink, be touched, yet transubstantiate - meaning having qualities and powers flesh bodies do not.

So who are they that Jesus does not know them, even if "they did works in his name"?

Many will say to Me in that the day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons and in your name perform many miracles?'

In context, "that day" is the Day of Judgement. And if Jesus isn't recognizing them as intimate and in close fellowship, then they would be hypocrites. The Laodicean lukewarm End Times churches who are in apostacy, supporting the synagogue of Satan's agendas, taking the easy route to not risk comforts, etc.

"Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” - Luke 17:36, Matthew 24:40

It would seem that those calling out to him, trying to rationalize why they should be in Heaven, will be in Hell, waiting for the White Throne Judgement. At least, that is what I gather.

And the word for quickly in the Greek is "Tachos", which means very swiftly. (

(The word tachometer comes from that.)

"'And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.'" - Revelation 22:12

So if I am interpreting what His reward being with him means, I think it aligns with who gets raptured and who is left behind.

"'He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming quickly.' Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!'" (Revelation 22:20)

"For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Luke 21:34-36

Thank you for such an important and relevant question. I am so happy to read your words and know you read mine too. Maranatha sister!

Prayers for all who are suffering in Palestine.
