To the few readers who were in the Patreon group I ended in January 2024 this extended-length mosaic essay will feel long-awaited. The new belts formed between two others that permanently surround Earth called the Van Allen Belts. Shaped like concentric rings high above Earth's equator, the Allen Belts are permanent belts are composed of a mix of high-energy electrons and protons that are trapped in place by Earth's magnetic field. Is there any science to support the phenomenon that two points in space can be joined by nothing but energy? Yes, there is. In 2013 NASA discovered a phenomenon called an X-POINT. X-POINTS are places where the magnetic field of the earth is directly connected to the magnetic field of the sun, creating an uninterrupted path of energetic particles linking earth to the sun.
